Our shopping pages can not only be used as a searchable database to locate items that are currently in our inventory, but they can be used to complete a secure on-line shopping transaction using a credit card or check.

The data on our shopping pages is updated on a daily basis. Please use the easy steps listed below.

1) Browse or search for the categories that you are interested in. (More important information on browsing and searching is listed below.)

2) Indicate in the quantity box how many of a particular item you would like to order. Then click on the [ADD] button. The screen will indicate the item is being added and return to the page, so you can add more items if you like. You may do another search or browse, and your order will stay current.

3) You can click on the [SHOW ORDER] button at any time, then go back to browsing or searching if you like. As a matter of fact, you can go anywhere on our pages after ordering items. When you come back, your order will still be there waiting.

4) After you are finished shopping and have clicked on the [ADD] button, click on the [CHECK OUT] button.

5) A screen will appear that will show your order. At this point you can continue the transaction by submitting your name and address information.

6) The next screen will ask for your payment information. There are three methods of payment. All three are secure in their own way. They are as follows:

• Secure on-line. This is the most secure way to order on-line. No one will see any credit card information except for us, as we have to enter a password to retrieve orders. They are not emailed to us. The information goes directly from your secure server to our secure server. It is impossible for anyone to intercept your credit card number.

• Credit card split method. Your credit card number is split into the first half and second half. We receive two emails from you, one with the first half, the second with the second half. This method is very secure.

• Fax method. This simply allows you to print out an order form where you write your credit card information. This can be either faxed or mailed to us.

If you know what individual items you want and have our stock number available to you, simply do a search on the entire or partial stock number, and then you can [ADD] it to your shopping cart order.

One of the nicest things about the search function is that you can use numbers and/or letters. For instance if you are looking for a 623 Lionel switcher, just input '623 Lionel' (don't use the quote marks). You will get back Lionel items that have the number 623 in some field, which will include the 623 switcher.
